What these specs mean · Compare every alarm

The Txi-D v2 is the current version of Delkim's flagship wireless alarm. Like every Delkim, it senses a take through vibration in the line rather than by counting turns of a roller wheel, using a piezo sensor with no moving parts in the sensing path. The presentation set (model DD100) arrives with the Rx-D v2 receiver already paired.

Who it suits

Anglers who fish in wind, undertow or frost and want an alarm that registers line vibration rather than wheel movement. Vibration sensing picks up very small indications, so it rewards anglers who take time to set the response correctly. Read roller wheel vs vibration before you choose.

Worth knowing

  • The do-not-disturb setting stops rain from triggering the receiver, a common complaint with sensitive vibration alarms.
  • Pairing up to 12 heads makes it practical for anglers running more than one swim's worth of rods across a session.
  • Compare it with the dual-sensing Wolf Icon Qi and the Nash Siren R4.
