About BiteAlarms.com
An independent UK site explaining bite alarm technology and comparing specifications honestly.
BiteAlarms.com is an independent UK website about fishing bite alarms. We explain how the technology works, translate spec sheets into plain English and compare alarms from every major brand side by side, so you can choose the right set for the way you fish.
How we research
- Every specification comes from the maker or established UK stockists, and we note when we last checked it.
- Where a maker doesn't publish a figure, we say "not stated" rather than guess.
- Where sources disagree, as with the Nash Siren R4's battery, we tell you.
- We paraphrase in our own words and never copy retailer or competitor text.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Commissions never decide which alarms we cover or what we say about them. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
Corrections and suggestions
Makers update alarms without much notice. If you spot a specification that has changed, or want an alarm added to the comparison, please get in touch.
